Let Between Us be the Song (ϳñíÿ áóäå ïîì³æ íàñ - Àíãë³éñüêèé ïåðåêëàä)

[Verse  1]
Like  a  string  the  path  lied  out  from  your  doorway,
And  to  my  doorway  it  had  flown.
So  how  had  your  lonely  trace  got  lost  astray  -
You  alone  know  that,  you  alone.

[Verse  2]
As  the  mountain  snows  will  melt  and  stream  aroom
Oh  the  spring  arrives  in  a  day
Shall  that  path  be  ringing  with  a  worried  zoom*
Far  away  from  me,  far  away...

Yet  no  falling  leaves  could  strew
And  conceal  it  under,
Cause  I  will  return  to  you
With  the  spring  my  wonder.
Both  your  hands  i  shall  enwomb
In  my  hands  with  keenness,
Shall  the  parting’s  yellow  bloom
Never  bloom  between  us.

Don’t  you  hide  your  eyes’  impassioned  ember,
Sing  to  me  like  it’s  the  last  time  long!
Let  me  take  that  song  as  to  remember,
Let  between  us  be  the  song.

Cause  your  voice,  because  your  voice  ‘s  a  generous  torrent,
Like  a  pasture  in  its  moisture  I  am  florant.
Yellow  leaves  will  fall  and  green  ones  will  appear,
And  forever  in  the  song  you  will  be  near  to  me.

*  Or:  “In  my  dreams  you’ll  be  there  as  a  blue-eyed  bloom”
